Ten Malaysian university students, who were invited to visit Chiba Prefecture on a monitoring tour from Jan. 5 to 9, 2015, paid a courtesy call on Governor Kensaku Morita while visiting a number of sightseeing spots and engaging in exchange programs with their local counterparts. The Malaysian students will post what they experienced in Chiba Prefecture on Facebook and other social networking sites.
1. How it happened Governor Morita, who visited Malaysia in January 2014 for the purpose of promoting Chiba Prefecture in person, agreed at a meeting with Malaysian Minister of Tourism and Culture Nazri Aziz to undertake a youth exchange program between the two parties.
