Forensic Wealth Management, based in Marbella Spain, has built a reputation of delivering firstClass investment opportunities. As Managing Director, Phil Cottrell, has a wealth of experience,In alternative investments and commodity trading.
One of Philip Cottrell s area of expertise is wine investment. On 20 March, Liv-ex (the international wine exchange) announced that its index of 100 investment grade wines had been included on Bloomberg Indices (which quotes indices of the world’s main investment markets). This is a clear sign that whatever our individual feelings about wine, for the first time ever the financial markets are being provided with performance data that will bring fine wine into the public domain as a viable and sustainable vehicle for capital growth.
Following this, Forensic Wealth Management, has received considerably more interest in its wine
Portfolio, clearly indicating the acceptance of wine as an alternative source of investment.
According to the Liv-ex Fine Wine Investables IndexFine wine was the best investment of the last decade, with the top French vintages earning returns that far oustripped equities, gold and property.
The average price of a fine bordeaux red jumped 138% in the noughties, equal to a gain of 11% a year, with the most sought-after labels, such as Lafite Rothschild, up almost 10-fold.
